Female Coupler to Scroll Tail

Manufactured to military specifications (MIL-C-27487-F), WAM AL couplings and adaptors are cast from permanent moulds utilising a gravity-cast high integrity method. WAM AL couplings are sturdy with good wall thickness and extra metal where it counts.

WAM AL couplings are cast from certified ingot, heat-treated to T-6 specifications, rumble finished, and machined to close tolerances. Heat treating gives the couplings approximately 20% greater strength, and increases chemical and environmental resistances. This can only be achieved if the metal is on-spec. Heat treating sub-standard metal castings is a pointless exercise, and one should be sceptical of claims without the backing of certificates from an ISO 9002 registered metal supplier.

WAM AL couplings are individually tested for pressure and fit. Great attention has been paid to casting methods to ensure that the castings are constant every time. The permanent moulds eliminate variation in casting thicknesses and contaminants.

WAM AL couplings are recommended for use in the petrochemical and transport shipping fields, and other industries where quality and dependability are key.
